Julia Dobbin (Wiewel), is the owner and instructor of Wee Ones Music Studio in addition to substitute teaching (currently on maternity leave) and a proud mom of two. She has previously spent most of her public teaching career working for the Calgary Board of Education as a music specialist and private lesson instruction for MaxSPL Music in Strathmore, AB. Her career in music education is driven by the philosophy that music should be inclusive and accessible to everyone. It is her goal to discover what sparks a students interest and to keep that spark alive while bringing musical joy to your life. Music lessons should be a place to learn and grow at your own pace and approached in ways that meet your individual needs. You should leave every lesson feeling fulfilled and proud of what was accomplished. Coming soon in February 2025, private and parented lesson instruction as well as private and shared Family Classes will be available at this home based studio located in the Suntree neighborhood of Leduc, AB.

• Bachelor of Music, University of Alberta - Augustana Campus

*alto saxophone performance as the primary instrument of study

• Bachelor of Education, University of Calgary

• Kodaly Level 1 and 2, University of Alberta

Experience:

• 5.5 years Kindergarten to Grade 6 music classroom instruction

• 3 years alto saxophone and beginner music/piano focused private lesson instruction

• 1 year developing and instructing Wee Ones Music Studio’s private and shared Family Classes
